Custom fields explained

  • Test Type — Manual, Automated, Exploratory, Performance or Security.
  • Automation Status — Not Automated, Planned, Automated, Flaky, Deprecated.
  • Automation Key — the stable id CI results are matched on (e.g. suite.login.sso).
  • Test Set Type — Smoke, Regression, Release, Integration, Security, Custom.
  • Environment Scope / Start / Target End — Test Plan campaign metadata.
  • Execution fields — latest result & run summary, updated as tests run.

The app is the source of truth for these values and always displays them, even if a field hasn’t been added to a native Jira screen yet.
