What “Run setup” creates

Setup provisions everything the app needs. It’s idempotent — safe to re-run; it only creates what’s missing and repairs what drifted.

• Work item types — Test Case, Test Set, Test Plan, Test Execution.
• Link types — used for coverage and traceability between requirements, tests and executions.
• Custom fields — Test Type, Automation Status, Automation Key, plus set/plan and execution fields (see below).

Note

On team-managed projects, newly created work item types must be added under Space settings → Work types; on company-managed projects an admin adds fields to the relevant Screens.
